Matlabas Safaris Rates

At Matalabas Safaris we offer the following hunting options:

• One Hunter per one Professional Hunter
• Two Hunters per one Professional Hunter
• Non Hunter/ Observer

We do suggest that serious Hunters don’t hunt two on one; as one on one is more productive & personal. We also offer Single or Family Hunting Packages

No charge will apply to the day of departure, but the day of arrival will be charged in full.

A list of available species can be found here. Most other species, including the “Big Five” are available on request

International Hunting Rates

Our daily rate for international visitors includes:

• Airport transfer to and from O.R. Tambo (JHB International)
• A licensed Professional Hunter
• Trained tracker; skinners and Lodge staff
• Accommodation at the Matlabas Safari Lodge
• Food and Beverages
• Daily Laundry
• Field preparation of Trophies (Salting & Drying)
• Transport of Trophies to Taxidermy

Our daily rates for international visitors exclude:

• All Taxidermy costs
• Trophy fee of animals bagged, wounded and lost
• All export costs for trophies
• Air charters (where applicable)
• Government tax (where applicable)
• Hotel accommodation before or after the safari (where applicable)

Due to daily fluctuations in the rate of exchange of the South African Rand, we can unfortunately not publish our daily rate for international visitors online. Please contact us for up to date Daily Rates and Trophy Fees in your currency
 

South African Citizens Self-catering rates

Our daily rate for self-catering South African visitors includes:

• Trained tracker; skinners and Lodge staff
• Accommodation at the Matlabas Safari Lodge
• Ample firewood
• Use of kitchen facilities and equipment at Matlabas Safari Lodge

Our daily rates for self-catering South African visitors exclude:

• Cleaning staff costs
• All food and beverages (self catering)
• All Taxidermy costs
